How much pasta?

So for dinner tomorrow night I am making penne vodka.  there will be 4 adults and my 2 kids. I am also making a big salad and garlic bread.

Would you make a pound or a pound and half of pasta?

2 lbs for sure. You can only dress one pound initially in case it doesn't get eaten, but I'd rather have leftovers then run out.

This.  It will freeze, too, so portion the leftovers and throw 'em in the freezer.
