S. Monmouth/N. Ocean--restaurants for 14 people incld kids
Looking for a non-chain family friendly restaurant to take 14 people too (10 adults, 4 kids) this weekend. Thanks.
Re: S. Monmouth/N. Ocean--restaurants for 14 people incld kids
We have been to Lubrano's in Wall with a large group Same #'s as you have.
You can try 709 in Point, they take reservations for large groups
Tulipanos in Belmar can do a large group
Mussuto's in Wall or might be Spring Lake (kind of hard to tell which town) but its on Rt 35 just opened a big restaurant next to their market and I hear the food is excellent there as well.
I know all of those. Good ideas. 709 is hard to get a reservation though. Especially for 15 I imagine.
Maybe, maybe not depending on time and how many reservations they have on the books. They are always so great when I call to make reservations for things.
Love Massutos Market.
Harpoon Willys on the river has a small private room.
Simkos
Connolly Station in Belmar
Uva in Bradley Beach
Legends in Wall for the hibachi / fun for the kids
Yeah I was thinking that!
Ohhh we should go to Connelly Station. That is where we took everyone after our wedding. It would be like a big reunion, lol!
Does Harpon Willys have a seperate dining area from the bar? I've never been there; my H would know.
Masutto's... haven't been there since he opened the restaurant part (but my H has). Benny is the owner, right? I wonder if that would be too "nice" Now that I think about it, something more casual would be beter with the kids.
We frequent the one in Brick, but since we are doing pizza for lunch that day trying to avoid the repeat! Great suggestion though!
Harpoon Willy has a small separte dining room away from the bar. We had a b'day party there 2 years ago and it fit about 25 of us.
Simkos is more casual.
What about the Sand Bar (in Brielle) in the upstairs room? I've seen private parties up there and the view is nice. It's a casual place.
We have a slight obession with Delvettos on 33 in Neptune ... it is easy, CHEAP, very kid friendly, BYOB, and GREAT food! Not the most beautiful, but who cares??
If you call to reserve ask to be in the small room ... the kids can do whatever they want basically.
Def agree with Lubranos too ... not sure how much the kids can "roam" though.
What about Sumo on 35 for hibachi ... laid back for sure .. fun for the kids and BYOB
Bedrock in Avon ... again, nothing fancy, but good for kids ...
One of my great friends is the baker at Mussuto's ...great food, new pizza but not sure how kid friendly.
Oh! There is the place in Asbury called Porta! It is SO freaking cute inside ... can def bring kids! It is lots of fun pizzas, etc ... THAT could be a great place!
Have fun!
Delvetto's is always are old faithful V!!! And I agree Labrano is a bit cramped. J knows Benny at Mussutos (I think that's his name). He's been there with B. Bedrock is still there??? Really?? I remember when it was in Bradley.
