Care to give a newb some insight?
After having DD1 I used WW and 30DS to lose about 30 lbs. I just had DD2 and I have 40lbs to lose. I started WW 4 weeks ago and have been losing ~2lbs a week (still nursing so lots of extra points). This past week I started Jilllan Michaels Body Revolution. So this past week with nursing, WW, and starting to work out I figured I would lose at least 2 lbs - but I GAINED 1. How is that even possible? Part of me feels like the Body Revolution doesn't have enough cardio.
Re: Care to give a newb some insight?
There are a couple of physiologic things that happen when you start to work out that cause you to hold on to more water than you had been. That one pound is just water weight, and it will go away.
With Body Revolution, you'll build muscle, and muscle burns calories. If you don't think it has enough cardio, you can always add some. Put those kids in a stroller (or kid, you didn't mention ages) and hit the street!
I would cut yourself some slack, you are still nursing. You might hit some weight loss plateaus while you are still nursing.
