I just noticed they added to their list of things to do "center the light in front of the window". Definitely wasn't on the original list, or on the list right after they put up the blue light. Yup, they are lurking here.
And the new white toilet is SO much better. I agree with them on it, not only did I hate the almond color, I hated the style.
Re: YHL bathroom
Thank goodness they are fixing that light fixture. It will look much better centered.
The white toilet is definitely an improvement. That funny shaped one didn't fit the style of their house.
They definitely lurk here. I've seen them course correct/make changes several times after something was suggested here.
I actually really like the original style of first toilet. I'm not an almond color fan but I think the new white toilet looks worse, or cheaper I guess.
I'm probably the only one but the shape of the original toilet is less "toilet" looking to me and seems to blend in more. It's visually less of an impact, and for a toilet that's a good thing.
I'm personally offended that they haven't switched their Toilet Paper to something more eco-friendly, like recycled TP. I'm almost appalled.
I'm kidding. I'm also making fun of the fact that they A. lurk here, so I wonder if this will have any influence and B. we're talking about their toilet choice (but I like it, while we're discussing it)
carry on.
Consider joining the bone marrow registry
I don't know how much they might lurk here on a regular basis, but they definitely have been here, and have posted in threads here before.
As for bing "rude enough to talk behind their backs" I don't think talking about a D&R blog on a D&R board is talking behind anyone's back. But I know you like to be ridiculous.
I do agree with Knitty that they don't necessarily lurk here. I know they've been here before, but the changes they've made that have been suggested here were the logical thing to do.
The "talking behind their backs" think just makes me LOL.
They do. They responded to a post of mine a year or so ago where I called their centerpiece fug. I felt bad because it never occurred to me before then that they might lurk on the board, but, well, it really was fug
They have posted a few other times as well.
And why won't you say it to their faces then? If you won't say it to someone's face it's because you think it's a mean thing to say and you shouldn't be saying it. You say ridiculous, I say ethical.
A piece of crap toilet, heehee.
I just asked my plumber DH about Glacier Bay toilets, and completely agreed. He actually said, "they are cheap." So pretty on par with what YHL tends to do.
well, they don't publish critical comments no matter how nice you say them...
What on EARTH are you talking about? You mean if we want to talk about anything related to their blog we should go over and submit comments on their blog posts? If I have something to say to YHL, I would certainly comment on their blog, if I read it. However, if I want to talk to the D&R folks I know here on the D&R board about a D&R BLOG, then I will do it here, in a format set up for discussion. Hence, you are being ridiculous.
