She's in heat. When she's not offering herself to my shoes, the other cats, the living room ottoman, she's howling in the basement at the top of her lungs. Mostly at 4 in the morning when I'm trying to sleep. How do people put up with this for any length of time? I would pay any amount of money right now to make her stfu.

Uh, no sh!t? I'm waiting for the okay from the vet. She had an infection when I found her.
It she was spayed, she wouldn't do this.

Do kitties get teeny tiny little kitten periods? I remember our dog used to before she was spayed and I was for some reason traumatized by this lol.

We just finished up the 10 day course of antibiotics and the vet also wanted to give her some time to "settle in" with us before they put her through the surgery. She was concerned that a scared cat wouldn't recover as well.
yes, but a dead cat (killed by it's very annoyed owner) won't recover at all.

I couldnt spay one of my little hookers when I first got her for medical reasons and it was the best time to cut her nails and groom her. Now she runs when i attempt to brush her. little shithead.
Anyway ya hopefully she wont start spraying everywhere, that is always fun.
