Re: and a "gaah men!" on SAHM's
Communication FTW.
Seriously though, I would see him off golfing, but the minute he got back the kids are his. I would go take a shower and hit the sack. He would be on duty the whole night.
Even SAHM (though its our job) need a break every now and then. Otherwise you go BSC. Let's put it this way, the breadwinner/typically employed person is not on call 24/7. They get lunches, breaks and get to punch the time card out and go home.
SAHM, not so much. You don't get to punch out or get a break unless you ask for one from your partner. If you don't ask you can't expect your husband to mind read, though it would be nice if some H's would volunteer.
My husband finally figured this out last night. So he told me to stay in bed this morning. Heaven!
Preach it, woman!!
My only difference is that I get up with the Geekling every day - even weekends. I'm usually up at that hour anyway to go to the bathroom and can never fall back asleep anyway. Its not like DH hasn't tried to give me mornings to sleep in!
