I was just thinking how weird my re-entry into sex is going to be again. I will have been on pelvic rest for 20 weeks, plus then recovery time of 6 weeks by the time I get to hump again. Then we have to go back to using condoms while I have leaky boobs and a c section scar. Gee I can't wait!

We are currently using them while I decide if I am going back on BCP for another few years until we TTC #2. I don't really want to, yet I don't think we can do a few more years of condoms. A few months has been more than enough for H. It does feel like HS again since DH and I sed them then.
And Mirena, etc. freaks me out for some irrational reason.

This. We've used condoms for almost 3 years. I can't usual hormonal BC because my medication makes it ineffective in preventing pregnancy and as a bonus it screws with my already messed up period. The year I was on hormonal BC was pretty awful.
You know what a bigger buzzkill than condoms are....babies lol. I am with cleo, one oops pregnancy and you get pretty hypervigilant real quick.
I am getting an iud, we will probably use condoms for a bit, i will nurse and h is getting the snip snip this year. I think we are good. :-)

what was awful about it? the smell of the condom or the feel of it? i guess we got really used to the smell, so that didn't bother us after a while. and i never felt a difference w/ or w/out. maybe my vagina isn't sensitive enough.
H will be getting snipped this year too. We will still use condoms until he is totally swimmer free. Honestly, sex doesn't really feel different to me, especially with ultra thin condoms out there. I don't know, they are not a big deal to us.
I was in shock for a good month after learning I was pregnant this time. lol

Squeaky?!? What brand are you usin'? Try some lube? Maybe some scented/flavored lube to cover the smell? WALLA! :-)

I've had three kids... I wish I would squeak. lol
We have to use condoms whenever DH is in chemotherapy and they're just horrible. I hate everything about them. I don't even like to put them on DH because they feel sooo gross.
Another reason to say F*CK YOU Cancer!
