Can't believe I'm asking this... but what comes out when you use a Neti pot
...besides snot obviously. I even tried to google image it. I have chronic sinus infections and cysts in my sinuses but I can't seem to bring myself to use this Neti pot thing because I'm afraid of what is going to come out into the sink...

If I have a sinus infection, then lots of brown, yellow and sometimes with flecks of red mucus. When I just do my normal daily netti, it's clear mucus and just the fluid in the bottle.
Oh and a leprechaun, but you get used to that.

Lol I hardly even get snot. I get water. But I also think I'm doing it wrong, because then three weeks later I get more water (stuck in a sinus cavity??) gushing out at inopportune times. Which I really thought was spinal fluid the first time. That probably doesn't ease your fears, huh? But my experience is atypical.

My mind was going places. Bad places.
I used one once when I had a sinus infection and got loads of green snot out.
I also gave myself an ear infection with it, soooo.

I'm kinda skeeved out at the thought of it but may give it a shot...
It's really fine, I promise. It's gross maybe the first time but I do it once a day at least and it's really helped with my sinus infections.
