Dinner with friends (ole!)...
so we are going to dinner with some friends (more H's friend, I've yet to meet the wife) and we were wanting Mexican. I've been to Ted's, and H and I are meh about it. I've heard good things about Mamaroja and there is an Alfredo's close to us. What is the best? (there will be kids involved if that changes anything).
Re: Dinner with friends (ole!)...
CHUY'S in Norman. You will thank me later. Oh, I am so happy we got a Chuy's!
no bueno, that's like an hour from us. Boo!
Trust me, it is worth the drive. I am worried it will run Ted's out of business it is THAT good.
my bookshelf!

Abel's IS really fresh and tasty - and there's a lot of open space for larger groups.
My favorite mexican food in the metro area is Tarahumara's in Norman. I'm dying to try Chuy's, though!
Third vote for Abel's. They're my favorite Mexican

Only been there once, but it was amazing. I loved their salsa.
The roasted salsa is amazing! Gah, I want to drive there now.
ya'll aren't making it any easier to stick with the Abel's plan!!! :0)
Seriously, stick with Abel's. I like Mama Roja's just fine, but Abel's is more authentic and you can get several kinds of salsa there, as well.
