so i think we have exhausted how we felt about the election...or how we voted....

simple question....

were you a house divided? or were you on the same page?

me? i think my dh would have chosen another candidate (he didn't get the chance to vote tuesday)....however, we shared the same feelings about both of them

thank the lord for women's suffrage right!? LOL

usually dh picks the opposite of me just to spite me, but we were very much on the same page in this election.

We are opposite sides in politics and in football.  Politics have caused our biggest fights, but thankfully we quickly realize its not worth it.

Unfortunately, I'm the only one in the family who is actively interested in the goings on in our country. DH isn't even registered to vote here in Birmingham (shame, I know), but since he doesn't make an effort to educate himself on politics I would rather him not vote at all.

My DH and I voted different ways! We agree on alot of issues but no everything! We try and not fight about it though because it is just not worth it!

We voted the same.  We agree on most things but he can sometimes be a little more extreme than me.  But we voted for the same candidate this time around.

We agreed, we voted for the same candidate, and we still feel the same. Since there's nothing else to go on, only time will tell and for the sake of our country I hope the future will prove that we were both wrong.

DH didn't get to vote on Tuesday, but he would've voted the same as I have.  We both are on the same page and he has helped me get educated in this election.

House divided!  DH's parents are hard core about politics and I think they shaped his political views at a young age.  So while he gave me a hard time and gave me reasons-- he only seemed to be reiterating what I heard from his parents.

I have no idea.  He didn't tell me who he voted for, and I didn't tell him.  I was 100% serious yesterday when I said I don't tell anyone.

We do discuss politics very regularly though - just not our specific candidates of choice.  We are both political junkies.

If my husband were allowed to vote we would have voted the same this election. Last election, no. I'm a registered independent and my husband's a raging liberal. We agree on a fair bit (a lot of our 'big issues'), but also disagree on things.
