My poor pup!
So one of Chloe's favorite things to do in the backyard is jump over the small (about a foot and a half high) brick wall and run up the hill, jumping through the bushes. This morning she jumped, ran up the hill, turned around and ran back and attempted to jump again. Only she didn't clear the brick wall. I was sitting outside and heard the thunk. Poor baby looks soo pathetic, you could tell she hurt because she wasnt sure which leg to walk on and seemed to be doing a modified army crawl to get to me.
I checked her out and noticed a dime size scrape on her left thigh, nothing major. She also smacked her right knee pretty good and has an inch long scrape and what looked to be the start of a bruise. When I left she didnt want to walk but was able too. I feel bad for leaving her home alone. Thank goodness FIL will be home around 10 and he can check for any swelling.
Needless to say I dont think Chloe will be hauling butt around the backyard anytime soon, esp now that it hurt her.
