Doctor Appt Update
Had my doctor's appointment/check up today. Everything is looking good. We briefly heard the heartbeat on the Doppler before the baby moved and she couldn't find it again. So she rolled in the bedside ultrasound machine to check. Wow, baby is definitely bigger than 4 weeks ago. I didn't realize until I got to work that I didn't get a print out this time. 
But everything is great. My stats are great too.
I've been severely congested since Wednesday so I did talk to her about that. I'm miserable and there really isn't much I can take to help. She checked and there's no infection, just allergies. Freaking not cool! I'm still on Singular and Claritin. She said I could go back to my allergy nasal spray for a few days to see if it helps. We want to avoid it becoming a sinus infection. But other than saline spray and some breath right strips I get to carry a box of Kleenex with me every where. People keep asking if I'm sick and I don't think they believe me when I tell them it's just allergies.
My doctor put in an order to get me scheduled for the anatomy scan in about 4 weeks. They'll call me soon to let me know the exact date. I'm hoping they call today but they probably won't call until next week. That's when we get to "hopefully" find out the gender. Now I'm at work and I'm super tired. Not sleeping well due to all this congestion. Yay that it's Friday!!!

Thanks everyone! I just have to remind myself a stuffy nose is better than having a sinus infection or getting bronchitis. The ultrasound place just called me. Got my appointment scheduled for Oct 5th. That's also when my next doctor appointment is so it'll be a busy day but hopefully exciting.
I know the main purpose of the ultrasound is to take measurements and make sure baby is growing well, that's why it's an anatomy scan, but a side benefit is usually getting to find out the gender. There are some scary posts over on the bump boards about how it's an anatomy scan not a gender thing, ect. Crazy ladies over there!!!
did you try a nasal rinse? that helps me sometimes. I use a neilmed one. They arent' that expensive.
I try to stay off any of the pregnancy boards. the people just seem to be a little bit to dramalicious for me.
ohh, dramalicious - love that as a word! Some of them really are. I like to lurk on the baby showers board. It's like a soap opera sometimes. he he he
I got a saline solution last night that I used. As I'm feeling better I'm not sure if it was the solution or the breathe right strip. Maybe both. but I'm going to try it again tonight.
Hopefully the picture posts. I found this and thought it would be such a perfect announcement for Facebook. For me that is as I LOVE fall. Of course I need to do it myself with our feet. But I don't think anyone starts selling pumpkins until around October. Anyone know differently or have any other suggestions? I've got some wicker pumpkins at my house and some metal ones for decor. But they aren't orange.
Haha, baby showers board is hilarious. So many variations of people asking if they can host their own baby shower, if they can have a shower for their 5th kid, etc. Then people making fun of facebook baby shower events. Definitely a good board to read haha
