My fun ride back from Nashvegas and my sweet DS :o)
So, first of all, I had to drive to Montgomery at 5 yesterday am and get on a bus. We took lots of staff and volunteers. It picked people up in Clanton, Birmingham and Cullman too. So we were leaving Nashville at 3:30 yesterday...go through Cullman and stop in Birmingham at 7:30 to let people off. The power steering on our bus went out! So we had to walk 2 blocks in downtown Birmingham to our office to sit there and wait for the bus company to send a new bus from Prattville. We tried to reason with the bus driver and get him to let us just rent two vans to come home. Nope...so we didn't leave Birmingham until 10:30. I got home at 1 am!!! But it was all worth it when DS woke up this morning, and I went into his room to get him. He looked all surprised to see me..he gave me a HUGE hug around my neck. I took him back in my room to see if he would go back to sleep which didn't happen, but he did snuggle up to me and say Mama
