27 weeks

Working on finding comfortable sleep positions.  Some nights I do and sleep is heaven, other nights not so much.  Bending over is getting difficult.  I'm a little nervous to be flying at 29 weeks.  It's going to be a long day when we do.  Lily is getting lots of cute stuff.  My sister keeps telling me about stuff she bought. My mom bought Lily her first baby doll (suitable for newborns) and her first Christmas ornament ( a stork carrying a baby in a pink blanket).  My great grandma and some of my great aunts sent presents with my grandma at Thanksgiving.  I'm waiting to open them until the shower.  They are just sitting in Lily's room right now. 

We got the crib put together this past weekend.  It's perfect.  No mattress yet so I can't make the bed, but I draped the quilt over the side rail.  I can't wait to start getting stuff up on the walls.  And you can see the chair rail DH stained and put up.  The dresser is in the room too, need to get a picture of the whole room.

 

 

 

Here is one with the quilt.  And of course the cats were checking out the new piece of furniture.  I found the stuffed frog at Target.  It's super soft.  Since the quilt has a frog prince on it, I thought a stuffed frog would be cute. Plus I'm trying to incorporate a bit more green into the room.  I just realized the other day that the frogs tie into one of the nicknames we like from HIMYM - Lilypad.

 

 

 And me today at 27 weeks and 2 days.  This is probably my favorite sweater.  I try to take bump pictures in different outfits so I have a record of all my clothes, but I think this is the most re-occurring piece I have.  Plus it's interesting to see how different clothes hide or really show off the bump.

I hope you gets lots of comfortable sleep soon. Is your body pillow working? I'm thinking of buying a Snoogle. (I think that's what they are called). I love your quilt!

I love just hearing a week by week update! The changes to the room are so great! I can't wait for Christmas to be over to start working on the mobile either!

My body pillow helps but I wish I had bought the Snoogle.  Since the body pillow is straight, it moves around a lot.  I want something that curves.  I held off on buying one because there were such mixed reviews on it.  Plus I didn't want to have to hassle with returning it to Amazon if I didn't like it.  I did find out last week that our local Motherhood Maternity sells them.  I was thinking I might get one after Christmas with any Christmas money I get.  I've done okay up to this point without it but if it helps, I think the cost would be worth it.  And then I'll have it for the next pregnancy.
