Hello, ladies.
May I join you? I started lurking around TN after my wedding in November 2011 but before I could get settled I found myself on TB right when I was about to take a break from TTC. I'm almost 34weeks pregnant but I'm home on bed rest because of high blood pressure and developing pre-eclampsia so I basically spend all my time on the internet. So I found myself lurking here and wondered if you would mind me joining you guys.
Hubby and I just had our 1st anniversary but we've been together for over 8 years. He's an IT genius and it looks like I'm going to be a stay at home mom for a while. We have one furbaby, Scout. She's a mix but everyone thinks she's a miniature German Shepherd. She'll be 3 years old in February.
And we're expecting our human baby, Amelia Rose, anytime between now and my due date on January 24th. I'd share a picture of her, but ultrasound photos can be super creepy. ^_^

Welcome! Congrats on the baby, what a beautiful name! H and I just started TTC. This is our first official month, but I've been off BC since July. So well see what happens. I'll be testing in two weeks.
We also have a G. Shep mix, Athena. We think she's mixed with Beagle and Lab. We also have two other furbabies, a Jack Russell mix named Milo and a Chiweenie named Riley.

Welcome! DH and I have been together 5 years (maried 2 1/2). We have one furbaby, a calico kitty named Evie. I rescued her before DH and I were even dating, and then he adopted her when we got married, even though he is allergic! She is 7 this year!! We are going to TTC in about 5 years. We are waiting until we have a house, a dog, and I am a certified paralegal, since DH's "dream job" is to be a SAHD.

DH and I have been married for one year on December 3rd. We have one fur baby, a Chinese sharpei her name is baby and she will be 2 years old in March. We have been TTC since October and hopefully soon we get our human baby!! DH and I own a little company and I am a SAHW hopefully SAHM soon!!
No. it's really silly, imo: DH is in school to be an engineer/architect. He has two years to go. I work at a law firm as a clerk, but have been told from the get-go that if I want to be a paralegal one day, the firm would help me out. DH and I had a talk about when we want to have kids a few months ago, and he confessed that whenever I become a para, he wants to have kids then, so we can afford for him to stay home. I was really shocked by it, but super happy to hear it. So we'll see where we are in a few years! I think it's silly because he is basically throwing away 5 years of school!

It kinda seems silly, but I think it's sweet. My older brother is a chemical engineer and he's currently working on his master's.. He's said that when his wife finishes her degree and wants to have kids he'll be a stay at home dad.
Just think, he can always go back to work when they're older or if you ever need him to. It's better than him being a SAHD and having no degree in case you ever can't work and he has to.
