So I always manage to have more time at night to check the board, read, and respond. Then after responding to a few, I keep refreshing the page, but realize that most of you go on at work haha.
Just wanted to thank you for posting so much during the day then when I open my computer at night, tons of new, unread posts appear. Makes my nights (more) eventful haha
(if you can't tell, I ran out of posts to respond to, so I had to start a new one just to add to the ones for you morning owls)
Heartfelt story of the day: I am unable to work because my Master's program is a full time program with a lovely unpaid internship, but I manage to keep one family that I work with for Respite, basically babysitting, but with a child with developmental disabilities. The family I work for has twin daughters, age 7, one with Autism, one without. J went with me to work today, starting at 4:15pm and we go until about 10:30pm, girls went to sleep around 8. I love seeing J interact with both of those girls, between piggy back rides, spinning on chairs, working on puzzle books... seeing him play with kids and genuinely caring and having fun is priceless.
Re: Night Owls?
This reminds me of my DH. He is amazing with kids. Seeing the way he interacted with his nieces and nephew was one of the reasons why I wanted to marry him. I can't wait to see him with his own baby girl in four months!
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I'm on here all day at work just because I have nothing better to do. In the evenings I usually pop in every couple of hours. I just don't post much anymore.
I'm on at work just because I'm sitting in front of a computer already so it's easy to open page. At night I try to stay away from computers but occasionally I'll check in.
That's so sweet of your hubby! One of the first pictures I ever saw of my DH (we met online, so pictures before meeting in person) was of him helping his niece dye easter eggs. It was just so sweet. I love seeing him around his nieces. Last night he was talking about selling off his characters from all the computer games that he plays. I guess he has a few that he could sell since he's has so much time while off work for his knee surgery. He said he knows he won't be playing them much once Lily gets here. It was very encouraging to hear that. I know he'll step up to the plate as a Dad, but I was a bit worried that in the beginning he might not help as much since I'm going to try to breastfeed only. Since he can't feed her, I was worried he'd be more hands off.
Oh I am on lots during the day when school is in session, but break? Laaate evenings haha
