Yes, it really is dead. December was crazy busy for us with 2 last minute trips to CA to deal with the adoption. On 12/27 we finally finalized B's adoption. B turned 1 a couple weeks ago (man where did time go??). Otherwise it is the same old, same old.
How are you adjusting to being a mommy? I would love to see some pics.
Adjusting to being a mommy is going great! I go back to work next week, and am dreading it tooo bad! I have a nanny for her, though, so that makes it a little easier. She is seriously such a good baby. Sleeps through the night except for 1 feeding at 3am, hardly cries, and it just adorable! Congrats on finalizing the adoption! How awesome!
We've been so busy- I love being a stay at home mom though! And I love that Eliana hasn't been sick and in the ER/Urgent Care/Hospital since MAY! Hurray. I'd rather spend my days doing dance parties, tea parties, and heck even tantrums then dealing with a sick baby girl!
Otherwise, life is fantastic
This board is so dead, it makes me sad as well.
Life has been crazy busy. We just found out we close on our house on the 21st of next month! I can't believe it that it is almost done. We are really looking forward to moving into our new home and getting settled there.
Jenn - I am so happy that Eliana is doing so well with you being home and to hear how much you love being a SAHM. That is still my ultimate goal but probably won't happen until we have another bambino!
So funny that I randomly checked over here and this was a relatively new post! I miss the board.
Not much going on over here. I'm starting classes for my MBA this month, so that's new. I'm hoping I can power through and be done not much after DH finishes his PhD. Please please please let him finish in December!! Ariadne is doing awesome, shes such a toddler now, no more little baby! I can't believe we are planning her second birthday party. Seriously? Time? Where are you?
