At least for me it does. I like to cook and bake. Now that I don't have night classes I'm home for dinner every night which is awesome. And I've been using that time wisely. I've been making double batches of everything to freeze half for when Lily gets here. Yesterday I had DH help me organize our deep freeze. It was a mess and I needed to move all the food from our inside freezer to our deep freeze. Yeah, I've made more than I realized. Ha ha!
my other reason to organize the deep freeze was to get some meat out for my double batch of spaghetti sauce I made today. I think I forgot how much one batch makes. Oy vey! Guess we won't run out of that for awhile.
. I also made a double batch of pumpkin bread this afternoon. My feet and back hurt but my kitchen smells super yummy. And I currently won't have to cook for 2 weeks after Lily gets here. That's without take out or any food other people bring.
So I guess I'm nesting.
I still have a few weeks before Lily gets here and I'm running out of freezer space. I guess I could move from cooking to cleaning but cooking is so much more fun!

Freezing food is a great idea. I would never think to do that, however I'm not a big cook. That's awesome that you won't have to cook for the first two weeks of Lily's life.
PS- Are you still naming her Lilian or will it just be Lily? My little girl will be Liliana and we are going to only call her Lily every now and again.
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
I freeze because its faster than canning and I don't have a pantry to store canned goods. Oh someday I will. Someday.
we are naming her Lillian. But we are going to call her Lily most of the time.
