Plans for this week?

What is everyone up to this week? Anything fun going on?

We have nothing. We need to do a small grocery shopping trip. I had plans to get a pedicure with a friend but I am pretty sure she is flaking out on me. I have a car now so am free to drive wherever I want but I have nowhere to go. Before we just had DH's big F-350 so I would only go somewhere if I absolutely needed to.

My birthday is Friday so we have a fun weekend planned...something to look forward to!

Re: Plans for this week?

  • Nothing fun planned.  Working and hoping to get things straightened up at home.  We really need to clean out the closet downstairs so we can move our luggage from DD's new room into there and finish bringing over her stuff from the nursery.  Then I can start ordering and putting up the new artwork/decor in the nursery and digging out the gender neutral clothes to use.  Also need to pick out fabric for drapes and such in DD's new room.

So, basically lots of little tasks and errands to start preparing for this LO's arrival.

  • Madeline-Darn that work taking up all your time! Also, I hope you have fun this weekend :)

Bobcee-You are getting close. Have fun decorating and getting the nursery ready! How is DD liking her big girl room?

  • Work and prepping for the garage sale I have planned for sat.

I hope it is a quiet, stress free week, though we are waiting to hear some job-related news in regard to dh, so it will probably be lively.

She likes the room a lot and likes showing all the new things in her "big girl room" to people when they come over which is good.  She has also been referring to the nursey as the baby's room which I take as a good sign, however the only way we can ge her to sleep is to lay down with her until she falls asleep. She will then sleep the whole night and actually stay until we come get her in the morning.  Unfortunately to get her to sleep has taken between 30 min to 2 hours every night and obviously can't continue.

I know you plan on starting to TTC #2 pretty soon here...are you ready?  It definitely has been bringing on some new challenges, but it's pretty exciting too and I'm excited/nervous to see how our new family dynamic will work.
