MONDAY!!!
It is the LAST MONDAY of the school year AND the LAST FULL DAY with my kids!!!!!!!! We have 3 more days this week, but they are early dismissal and the kids leave at 1pm. Too bad the teachers have to stay until 4:30 
. It's been a pretty mellow day so far. I have the kids doing review packets of the math skills from the past month and in a little while we'll finish presidents for Social Studies and clean out their desks. I took my prep time today to go to Burlington Coat Factory and finsih getting the items that weren't purchased from my registry (I had gift cards).
How is everyone else's Monday going????

Wow, your school gets done super early. Schools around here do not get out until June 20 or so, but then again they don't go back until the Monday after Labor Day. Your students must go back mid August.
My Monday is going okay. I went to the doctor's and did not get any clear answers about my c-section. My mom came with me and she asked some questions too. He just kept saying that he doesn't know what's going to happen unitl he opens me up. So he doesn't know if he'll have to remove the fibroid and doesn't know if he'll have to do the hystercotomy. He says I shouldn't worry. Sure, that's easy for him to say. I just can't wait until this is all over with and I have my baby in my arms and hopefully my uterus in tack.

Our district started the school year on August 8th, that's why we are getting out so early.
I can't believe the doctor is being so vague about what is going to happen during your c-section. Did he do an ultrasound to get a better idea of where the fibroid is? If you weren't a week away from the date I would be telling you to find another doctor. It just seems crazy that he is so laid back about all this, of course it could be because he's done this a lot before.
He doesn't do ultrasounds. He sends me to the hospital where the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit does them. He's seen the reports. It's impossible to get a second opinion. I doubt a doctor would even take me this late in the game. I've just got to put my trust in him and God. He is laid back but when I ask questions he has an attitude like his is being attacked. He's lacking bedside manner. That's for sure!
