I know several of you have already seen it, but WOW! I really liked it alot! I mean, it wasn't AS good as the book (they never are IMO) but it was still really good! I was disappointed that so many things were left out and everything seemed rushed, but I guess you can only fit so much into 2 hours. I was also surprised that it ended so differently from the book. It did make me excited to read New Moon though. (Oh, thank you so much Jessica for letting me borrow the next 2 books! I really appreciate it and will return them to you or give them to Leah as soon as I'm done.) Anyway, my 9 year old saw it with me and loved it too. She did get scared during that one part and looked away, but she really enjoyed it.
Re: Just saw Twilight!
The part about Bella being at the Cullens and cutting herself and Jasper losing it is actually in New Moon. They just previewed the first chapter of New Moon in Twilight. I'm sure it'll be in the New Moon movie.
I too was disappointed with the meadow scene. And I also felt like the romance was rushed. I mean their romance is very passionate in the book...I wished they had worked on that more. But I did like the movie but totally agree with you Monica that the book is better.
Oh man! You're right! I'm about 1/4 of the way into New Moon. I guess everything is running together! LOL!
