Ok ladies....
E-vite reminders are set to go out this weekend. A few things before then:
Looks like there are about 22-23 of us attending, so... Go SJ Nesties!
I only was able to get 2 long tables so I forget who it was that offered some tables, but we'll definitely need at least 2 more, so please get in touch with me! The table-bringer can park in my driveway. :-)
My chair connection fell through, so here are our chair options, since I own a grand total of 2 folding chairs:
(A) Everyone can bring their own chair ( folding, patio, beach...whatever) or (B) Someone can volunteer a bunch of them. If we opt for the bring-your-own, just remember that you'll have to carry it across the street from the parking lot to my house. I know it's a pain, but it really might be easiest for everyone to bring her own than trying to coordinate/organize getting the right number of chairs. Fair enough?
Parking: the sign for the Swim Club has been removed for the off-season, which I apparently didn't notice until today. I doubt anyone will miss it, though, since it's a huge empty parking lot next to a fenced in pool and a playground set. If you feel that you need further directions though, please get in touch with me :-) Luckily, they did plow and salt the lot with yesterday's snow even though the club is closed for the season. I was worried!
I hate to mention money, but please don't forget about the $5 per person chip in. As much as I love cookies and all of you, I can't afford to eat this, figuratively speaking LOL.
I wouldn't mind if anyone would like to volunteer bringing a 2 liter bottle of soda or coffee creamer/half and half or things of that nature.
Please prepare yourselves to be totally unimpressed with my house. I live in an old, 60s, quintessential CH split level that is in desperate need of updating. We ran out of money way before ideas. I'm not embarrassed by it...it's clean and it's ours, but I already know it's ugly and I operate under no delusions about the attractiveness of painted wood paneling. Just saying. LOL
I'm very excited and looking forward to seeing all of you!

Re: GTG countdown time
LOL I love what you said about your house. ?This is exactly how I describe mine. ?At this point all I want is for it to be clean and orderly even if it's not very pretty.
This will be my first GTG and I am very excited!
I was prepared to volunteer a table but I was just informed that it will not fit in my car. ?Sorry. ?I will, however, bring a beverage of some sort. ?Perhaps sparkling pink lemonade!
Emily, that would be great. Thanks!
ICalltheshots- it's Sunday 2/8 at my house in Cherry Hill. E-mail me at doughgirl873 at yahoo dot com if you'd like an e-vite!
Cyndi- Great. Thank you!
Chair count is now at 16
Shar,
would it be OK if i parked in your driveway since i'll have the lil' man with me? ?i doubt i'll be able to stay long. ?i just want to visit and watch the happenings.
?
I can bring something to drink. Is this an alcohol free GTG? I'd be fine bringing some soda or a bottle of wine.

For everyone volunteering chairs..yes! With this many attending, would it be ok if we just did an "everyone grab a chair in the parking lot and walk one over" parade? trying to coordinate 6-7 cars in and out of my driveway might make my head explode LOL
I appreciate everyone's willingness and excitement.
scorpio...feel free to bring whatever you'd like, but soda would be just fine. thanks!
