So I started this blog thing...and I've got bubkis to write about. I put up one post back in December and nothing since.
I can write anything but this stupid blog. Call it "blog block" if you will.
For those with blogs, what do you write about?
For those that read blogs, what makes you read them?
Anyone have good suggestions for blogs out there? Any topic is good.
Re: Blogs? Anyone?
I write about life.
I read blogs that are intersting... where it sounds like the person is actually talking or thinking. A lot of the blogs I read tend to go around something really exciting happening (like an adoption, or a baby being born) or something sad that happened, but not all of them. I read ones that are just about every day life.
Maybe I just need a more interesting life then?
Maybe elaborating on some of your posts on here? I know I always get a good laugh about some of the funny stuff you write about. I like to read about "real life" stuff too, but it has to be well written and witty or humorous to keep me interested.
Just my $.02
Well, I think most of your best posts on here are you ranting about things- work, your car, your neighbor. Why can't you make your blog about the things that annoy you every day? It would be a great outlet and life is sure to hand you plenty of new material
The only other idea I have is to write about daily life from your cats' perspectives. Then again, I'm a big animal lover, so that might not have as much appeal to everyone else.
For those with blogs, what do you write about?Cooking, 97% of the time. Periodically if a major even happens (bought a house, got a dog) that gets thrown in as well. But predominately a food blog.
For those that read blogs, what makes you read them? I read mostly food blogs for recipes, but I also read a couple of 'life' blogs. What makes me read them is usually funny spins on things that happen in life.
Anyone have good suggestions for blogs out there? Any topic is good. Depends on what your interests are. If you knit, do one on knitting. If you're obsessed with decorating your house, do that. If you love to read, do a book blog with reviews.
I love to cook -- so mine is about cooking.
