I love the house... and I'm sure with 8 kids it will fill up quickly -- but my famiyl fo 4 would be totally lost in there!
I also love how much land they have. It's very different from the house they were in... at least they can get some privacy now! I read that people used to stop and their house and knock on their door just to say hello, lol. I'm guessing it's not so easy w/the new place.

I saw the episode on Monday though and it looked huge. Must be real nice to have that kind of money and not work.
I can only guess because I am not in their situation, but given the oppertunity, and having a set of twins & sextuplets, I would totally do exactly what they are doing. It would be the only way we could afford to live! One of u swould have to stay home because daycare rates would knock out both salaries and ideally we would both be home most of the time.
I'd rather have J&K working (and I do think it's work... they have a lot of public appearances to make on their "off" days and I'm sure it's stressful having a crew film you all day, 3 days a week) then be on public assistance.
Their situation is truely unique, people are interested, and I don't think there is anything wrong with them making money off of it, especially because of how privlidged their childrens lives will be thanks to the big pay check!
I think the house is BEAUTIFUL!
I can NOT stand Kate...i think she is crazy...But obviously other people like them and enjoy the show...I am not sure i would do a show like that myself b/c i don't want my personal business out in the public esp when DH and i get into fights...
Oh and i have to say that raising 8 kids IS work...My sister only had triplets and that in itself was a full time job...I do think that Kate and Jon have done a pretty good job with these kids with the exception of Maddy...However, Maddy may just be a cookie cutter image of her Mother
The bottom line is they are fortunate enough to be able to afford what they have....Plus, they really did need a BIGGER house...
