Am I insane.....

or optomistic?  I went to B&N to get a book that was recommended on the TTTC board about infertility.  Well I ended up getting 3 books.  Right behind the section where the fertility books are (which is in the disease section!!) there was a bin full of stuff that was only $1.  So I was looking through and saw some kind of planner/organizer, (I am a planner, i dont go to the bathroom unless i first wrote it in my schedule kind of planner, i live and die by my organizer).  Well it says "pregnancy planner" so I looked at it more and saw it was for when you ARE pregnant (not TTC).  So I bought it.  It was only $1!!!  It is for the year 2009, it is good for another 10 months.  Hopefully I will get pregnant in those 10 months.

insane?? or optomistic???

Anyone else TTC do soemthing like this??

Re: Am I insane.....

  • I don't think you're insane ... it was just $1.  Hopefully you'll be using it soon.  I bought a maternity shirt at Old Navy last week.  It was marked down ridiculously and I couldn't pass it up.
  • I bought a baby girl outfit even before I was pregnant, because it was so damn cute. ?I just couldn't resist. ?You're perfectly normal! ?Oh yeah, I didn't even end up having a girl, so now I have a cute girly outfit sitting in my son's closet! lol.
  • I vote optomistic!  I hope it brings good luck, and you'll be using it very soon!!!!

  • I bought a few Princeton University onsies b/f our first pregnancy...i won't even look at baby/maternity stuff anymore...i feel like i will jinx myself or get stuck with it and no kids.....

    I say you are optomistic...

  • I think its great that you're thinking positively!  I hope you get to use it soon.
TTC since April 2009 dx = PCOS; TTC History for DS - A FET miracle after 7 IUIs; 2 fresh transfers, and 1 other FET resulted in BFNs. Hoping and Praying for baby #2: Cycle 1 - FET; November 2012 BFN Next Steps - who knows? Lilypie Second Birthday tickers
  • Before I was even TTC I was at a garage sale and they had a bunch of pregnancy books, for $1 each, so I bought like five of them and had my mom hold them till I was ready! When I got my BFP, I put one of the books about being a new dad in a bag and gave it to DH to tell him I was knocked up!!! So, def optimistic and smart!
