How's everyone doing? How did everyone's January go? Any goals for February? I lost SEVEN pounds this month.  I am so happy.  This, despite my day of two lunches yesterday, and my screwed up weekend last weekend.  I totally love Couch to 5k.

I'm hoping to keep it up.  Now that I'm on a regular exercise schedule, I'm hoping that I can lose about 2 pounds a week in February.  I've decided when I lose 20 pounds total, my present to myself will be a trip to the MAC makeup counter for a little mini-makeover.

Anyway, my plan today is to take a long walk later this afternoon. And for food:

B- yogurt and banana

L - soup and some cheese & crackers

D- not sure yet.  I pick up our CSA box later today, so I'll see what's in there.

Snacks...a pear, and not sure what else.  It's Friday, maybe a glass of wine.  Wink

  • You should be really proud of yourself!!  Seven pounds is amazing!  Congrats!!

    I've lost 6 since I really started being good again; around like the 5th.  My final weigh in is tomorrow am, so I hope my night of pizza last night doesn't catch up with me!

    B: Leftover pizza.  Horrible, but not wasteful!  And now it's out of the house.

    L: Split pea soup and whole wheat bagel

    D: pasta with zucchini

    And more wii fit!

  • That's awesome, ESF! I was going to get up and use the elliptical this morning, but after GmcG woke me up to pay the CC bill, we started talking, and before I knew it, I had to get ready for work. Planning to do it this afternoon, though. I'm planning for swimming tomorrow and Sunday because we are having a Super Bowl party on Sunday. But there should actually be a lot of good options.

    B: one piece venison jerky (it's shamefully Wisconsinish), 2 clementines, one Debt-Free Celebration Donut, chocolate milk

    L: Amy's tortilla casserole bowl

    S: pineapple

    D: extra lean cheeseburger (no bun), roasted sweet potatoes, green beans

  • Congratulations on your weight loss, gals! I am very proud of you, and hope you keep it up!

    I am very happy with this month's # progress overall -- I love couch to 5 k and have been eating pretty healthily. This week totally sucked, but I'm looking forward to getting back to the gym tomorrow now that the weather has cleared up, and will be running more frequently.

  • Wow, Fluffy! 7 pounds is awesome! I hope to be there soon! Now that I've finally gotten my routine down, I really can't wait to see results!
