FINALLY online!!! Thank gawd... Birth story...
I couldn't get online with my laptop and the set up in the rooms suck, I tried for like an hour today to nest and couldn't quite get there, YAY for Macbook!!! My mom brought me hers today, otherwise I think I would drive myself CRAZY here for three more days!!
Anyway, Luca is here, wohooooo! He is so damn cute too, Jason was NOT cute at all as a newborn, so we weren't sure what we were in for, but he is very cute!! 8lbs 3oz, 19 1/2 inches, he is a little tyke compared to his big brother who was 20 1/2 inches and 8lbs 15oz. ?TONS of hair, it comes over his ears, I swear you could put a headband on him and he would look like a girl.
Yesterday went well, for the most part, We got bumped a little over an hour because the Doc had to go assist in a surgery, ?so a little after 11 am they took me into the OR and gave me a spinal block and morphine... almost immediatly I felt really woozy and sick, ?I couldn't really concentrate and my whole body felt so heavy, even my arms I had trouble lifting. ?I am guessing I felt so high from the morphine? Honestly it was not very nice, ?with my first section, I had the epidural and I guess since it lasts so long they don't do pain meds right away but because the spinal block is so short they have to give pain stuff. ?Anyway the surgery didn't last long and then Luca was here. ?I was so high I couldn't hold him or even focus on him

They then took him to clean him up and I went to recovery, when I got back to my room, they couldn't bring him in yet because he swallowed alot of amniotic fluid and they wanted to watch him a while to make sure he was ok, they were talking about sending him to the nicu, but he got better and I was able to see him round 4:30 (from noonish) ?I was still high and felt like $hit. ?Luca was doing well and visiting with everyone, all Jason wanted to do was kiss him for like five minutes then he was over him and on to exploring my hospital room. At some point I threw up, good times. ?Around 11 I had a sandwhich and felt much better and was FINALLY able to hold my new son YAY! ?Today was great, besides being bored out of my mind. ?I forgot how much babies sleep!!! Marc stayed last night but is going home tonight and I can nest, and facebook and read my book. whew...
Anyway thanks for all of the love, I'll post some pics when I get a chance, I think my mom has some on here somewhere from last night.

Ahhhh..memories. It took about 10 seconds from the spinal to me getting down on the table before I barfed. I can't imagine how people do drugs. I'd never want to feel like that again ( unless of course it was for said surgery) Did you get the shakes afterward too? I think that was the worst part for me! LOL
Luca is just gorgeous and Jason looks so excited to meet his little brother!
