I'm back and apparently missed a lot!

So from what I read from the last couple of days a lot has happened since I left!  Anyone care to fill me in?

Re: I'm back and apparently missed a lot!

  • Just read the "Can someone please paraphrase" post and it'll fill you in on the dramas....

And two SJ Nestie babies were born while you were gone.....

    How was your trip?

  • Who had babies!!!  So exciting.

The cruise was amazing.  I'll be posting tons of pictures to my blog one day this week.

  • Glad you had a good trip!

Lavender~Ricci had Baby Luca (c-sec I think) and ShinySparkBubbles had Baby Adam.  Haven't seen Luca pics yet but Shiny's baby pic is so cute!  It's in her siggy and in an AW post below...

  • Both babies and mommies are healthy I hope?  That is so exciting.  I'm going to go look for the AW post to see the picture.
  • Only healthy reports on the babies.

Lavender put hers up on FB...  but I'm not FB friended with her, but perhaps you are so you can see....

  • Welcome back!!!!  I am so jealous about your vacation(s).   I want to hear all about the cruise please!!  My life is so boring and I am married to my job.  I think I am contacting a divorce lawyer soon and file for irreconcilable differences....

You missed nothing interesting on the knot or nest.  someone posted accusations about knotties and nesties emailing his wife and harrassing her....he seems to think it is Krista and Shari.  I call MUD and have no idea why anyone really cares....it was so stupid.  If there was any truth to the matter, why wouldn't this supposed husband have just emailed these nesties back instead of posting here.....hahahahaha!  stoooopid.

  • Are you tan???  I can't wait to see pics.  Have you done cruises before?  H and I considered one for our HM and were a little unsure so I'd love to hear your thoughts.

    How long til Ireland?

  • I do have a tan but people only believe me when I show them the tan line.  I'm still very pasty.  I'm a large part Irish so tanning isn't something I do well.

This was our second cruise.  We looooove them.  Just stop by Target and ask the pharmacist for the sea sickness pill they have.  It's chewable.  Take one every twelve hours and you'll be fine.  It's better to take it as a pre-caution just in case.  If you don't know if you get sea sick that isn't the time to find out.  I get horribly sea sick and I was 100% fine on them the entire time.  Cruising is by far one of the best ways to vacation!  If you want more specific details just email me.  We have been on a caribbean cruise and western coast of Mexico cruise.  SOOOO fun!

Did this make you drowsy?  Was it Dramamine or something else?

  • It didn't make me drowsy.  It was the generic of dramamine.  Dramamine was about 12 dollars for ten pills and the pharmacist gave up about 100 pills for four dollars.  The only thing that made me drowsy was the large quantities of food I ate that made my body want to shut down to process it!

Thanks!  I'll have to ask for these!

    Bahwahahaha!!!

  • I'm glad you had fun on your cruise! I want to see pics :)
  • Glad you had fun! I have very Irish (pasty) skin as well. When we got back from our HM to St. Lucia everyone was like 'Why aren't you tan?' I DON'T tan!

I take motion-sickness meds as a precaution all the time, too. I take Bonine, which is non-drowsy... Dramamine makes me VERY sleepy!
