VENT: This sucks!
All of a sudden, the past few days my feet have been so swollen. None of my shoes fit me anymore. As a teacher, I am on my feet all day and I can already tell today is going to be agony. Last night I was in so much pain from the one pair of shoes I thought would get me through the day.
Now I have to go out and spend money I don't have on shoes I don't want!

My feet had been swelling to recently. I think the warm weather coupled with being on your feet really contributes to it. Because the day my feet were swelling was a day that I was running (more like waddling) around campus all day long. It has subsided for me since then, but I am not on my feet all day long, it is only on days where I am.
I understand not wanting to spend money. I just spent some money on a snoogle and maternity support belt, I hope they are worth the money and help with my back pains. My back has been killing me.
Shert - the body pillpw was pretty much the best money spent during my pregnancy.
Darby - I'm sorry your feet are swelling, mine did too. I expect them to be worse this time around, since I will be in my third tri during the very hot months this summer.
Irma - I bought some Merrill mary janes when I was on the road at 6-ish mos pregnant. ?They are the most comfortable shoes EVER and I still wear them just about every day two years later. ?Totally worth the $$ (I think they were $70). ?Bought them at Dillards in Montana (yes, Montana) - but I am sure you could get them at Zappos.
