I know, craziness! Possibly even sooner. I had a great consult today with my surgeon (I really love her) and it was more like a friendly visit with baby talk thrown in.
Anyway, she suggested checking their schedules (hers and my regular dr) to see if they could even move me up to this weekend. I'll find out on Friday if the scheduling works all around. ?Oh- and in other baby news, the little squirmer decided to turn and is now positioned breech!

wow - this weekend!? eek!! speaking of squirmers....baby h has been moving around like crazy today. not so comfortable for me. i've been waiting for him to settle down and take a nap. jeff's mom comes in from florida tonight and he's going to tire himself out before she gets here! i think he's really running out of room in there.
i have been being better about my diet. i didn't meet with the nurse regarding the GD until the 29th. I got my meter and now I have to check my blood sugar 4 times a day (first thing in the morning and 1 hr after each meal. You know when ppl tell you that you can't have something...you just want it more. I have been staring at this pack of cookies in our work lunchroom for the last week. I wish somebody would just finish it already! i REALLY hope that this goes away completely after pregnancy. I know I will still need to watch my diet/exercise, but this extreme would be miserable to have to deal with forever!

I'll find out full details, if the timing works for the hospital and both dr's as scheduled. Otherwise, I'll be in on the 10th.
Wendy- almost everyone I know who has had GD doesn't have any after affects once the baby is born. I hope yours is a distant memory soon..and, I am sorry about the finger pricks- they suck! I've checked my blood sugar on dh's machine before and I think they are downright evil. You get extra momma for that one in my book- which (I hope) equals fast and smooth labour!
