Just thought I would respond here rather then there! lol

We are good, so much easier the second time around, with Jason I felt like I was in a fog for like a month, I feel ok this time, and am in no where the pain I was in with J.  I'm just tired, but my mom is staying here this week with us to help out with Jason, so all is well.  Luca is jaundice so we had/have to keep doing bloodwork at the hospital which is a real pita, but it was the same with J, so hopefully after Thursday it will be normal.  How are YOU adjusting to new mommyhood?

Re: shineyspark***

  • I'm glad to hear things are going well for you! That sucks about the jaundice, Adam level was high when they did the thing on his head but his bloodwork came back okay.  My mom was here with us for Wed-Monday night to help, thank god! Things are certainly different with a baby! I was a wreck Wed-Fri, bawling like crazy over everything but thankfully that has passed. I'm thinking it was just the hormones. We are so in love with our little man! How big was Luca? He looks bigger than Adam and he was 8 lbs 8 ounces!

  • actually he was a tiny tyke at 8lbs 3oz 19 1/2 inches, he has these skinny chicken legs, the only chunky thing on him is his double chin and chunk cheeks!  I say tiny because Jason was FAT when he was born 8 16.  When we left the hospital Luca was down to 7 13.   Yes, the hormones are a BIT^H!!!  I just about had a meltdown at the lab today dealing with insurance crap and the dr.    Adam is soo precious!  Just wait, everyday will be something new, parenthood is the best!
