Attn: Moms/Moms-to-Be - Photog Recs?
Hey ladies. I'm looking for anyone who had maternity photos done faily recently and had a photog they absolutely loved... the one I was hoping to use is now on hiatus due to having a newborn of her own. I have plenty of time to do the research, but I figured if someone had a recommendation, that would be even better. If you don't mind sharing what you paid and what you got for the money, that would be awesome too.
I am in Lititz, so the Lancaster area is best, but I'm willing to travel a bit as well. Thanks so much!

Haven't gotten them yet, but I'm going to schedule with Scott Church, closer to my due date and after the baby is born. He speciallizes in artistic nude photography, but his talent is limitless. His site features some of his non-nude family/kids stuff. However, be ware the site is probably not safe for viewing at work.
FWIW, I've been to him a few times, and he's wonderful to work with. I think his current rate is $200 for a photo session in-studio (Lebanon), or he'll travel to you. At the end of the day (sessions usually lasted me about 4 hours each), you leave with a CD of every image he shot, some of them edited.
I posted about my friend the other day - she just fully launched her photography business and really does great work. She's looking to do more belly shots to add to her portfolio. Her name is Jessica Ames. She's based in State College but is more than willing to travel (she frequently does work in NY and in the Harrisburg area).
