Ocean City, NJ hotels

I have a wedding to attend June 5th (Friday night) at the Flanders Hotel, and we were planning on staying in OC that night. It appears as if Flanders requires a min. two night stay. Anyone know of any other reasonably-priced OC hotels that DON'T require two nights? (I'm sure they're hard to find!)

Re: Ocean City, NJ hotels

  • Oh good question!  I have  wedding there May 9th and I'm thinking the same thing.  Maybe a condo rental is the way to go and make a weekend out of it?
  • I actually just called Flander's, and they DO require a min. of two nights if the date is after Memorial Day. So, M&S, you're in the clear!

  • Maybe the Impala?  It is very close to the Falnders and pretty nice, but more like a motel.  I used to work at the resterant near it and the guests would always eat there.  They seemed to like it.
  • I went to a wedding at flanders in Nov, I was only a one night min. then but I guess since your going in the summer it's another story...you might find that an issue in the whole town (sorry to say)..there is a hotel right outside the city in Summer's point next to the liquar store..I would call there
  • Thanks for the recs! I'm thinking that we'll either stay at the Chelsea Hotel in AC (good rate, no min. nights), or stay on my parent's boat, which is docked in Somer's Point.. right over the bridge!
