New Career: Pet Grooming
I'm really considering pet grooming as a new line of work.
No joke.
I think I could do it.
Only problem is, how the heck do you train to do that? Apprentice? Empire Dog Beauty School?
There is a school in Scranton, and I found correspondence courses. But how do you practice if you're watching a DVD in your home, and don't own a dog?
I don't think my cats would appreciate a standard poodle cut.

My aunt used to be a dog groomer. I could ask her how she got started in it sometime. She lives in the Reading area too.
YES! That would be awesome. I don't know where to start. I was thinking of going to the pet expo to see if I could talk to people.
I have kicked this idea around for years so I think I owe it a little attention considering I'm not a fan of what I do now.
I could volunteer services to humane societies and rescues. I could go to seniors' homes and groom thier pets for free. Stuff like that.
