Grrrr, My H and Granny Smith Apples
So, I'm entering a baking contest tomorrow at work. ?I went grocery shopping last night specifically to buy the ingredients. ?This morning I asked H not to eat any of the apples since they were for my cheesecake. ?This afternoon he texted me that I was going to kill him, but he accidentally ate one of the apples when he stopped by the house during work. ?I actually even chuckled a little, but texted back that he'd have to pick up another one after work. ?I called him at 7:30 (he's normally home around 6ish) to see where he was, and he was still at the office. ?Seriously, couldn't he have called me to let me know that he was going to be late so that I could go to the store? ?I had already started prepping to bake the cheesecake and started making dinner. Thankfully my Mom was willing to pick up another apple for me since she was out and about. ?I know it really isn't a big deal, just wish he'd be more considerate. ?Just needed to vent a little, back to baking. ? ?

I got 2nd place!!! The prize is a highly coveted parking spot for two days
It was too funny seeing 3 military guys taking the judging very seriously, and Izzy's H walking around in blue surgical gloves to cut the cakes. They did a bake sale with the cakes to rasie money for our Christmas Party. It was worth last night's frustration, and my H apologized for not calling to let me know he'd be late.
That's great! Parking spots are pretty clutch, especially since they're hard to come by sometimes over there. I'm sure I'll hear all about it over lunch today. H and I are going to Amada with some work friends. Maybe he brought me a piece of something...
