It's Thursday - good morning!
How was everyone's night? What's on the agenda tonight?
Last night we went to the Valentines Day dinner at church. The dinner was ehh...so we finished off the night with dessert at TGIF. Yum! When we picked up Eric, we found out that he threw up again while we were gone, so I guess he is still sick. He hasn't kept ANY solids down and it's forceful to get him to drink something. The thing is though, he acts pretty much normal. I might call the doc's office today for advice....
Today is my big doctor appointment. I'm scared to death. I could hardly sleep last night and feel sick to my stomach today.

Val - sorry to hear E's still sick! Will he drink pedialyte or maybe suck on those pedialyte ice pops? Sarah loves the cherry pedialyte drink - thank goodness...that was the only thing she'd when she had her stomach flu. Good luck at your doctor's appointment!
Rebecca - Have a GREAT time in San Francisco!! I'm so jealous! I can't wait to hear about your trip!
Didn't do anything exciting last night. Sarah was up until about 8:30...she took a 2 hour nap yesterday morning and another one yesterday afternoon, not waking up until 5pm...so I knew her 7pm bedtime was shot. Nothing interesting going on today...just work then straightening up the house tonight for the housekeepers who come tomorrow morning. My sister will hopefully hear something about her job tonight...I'm really hoping it turns out ok for her...we're all just scared to death about it all.
Good news about dad! He gets his stomach tube out tomorrow! Woohooo! He's so excited! This is a major milestone for him! He's los at least 100 pounds so far (about a pound a day) and is still very tired. He also has thrush pretty bad. His doctor gave him another med yesterday to see if that will help (the last one he was on kept it from getting worse but didn't make it better).

Last night I deep cleaned the kitchen, made dinner and then we watched American Idol. Tonight I have to do laundry before we leave for the weekend.

I'm sick again with some nasty cough/throat thing. I was supposed to be hauling a** on prepping the nursery this week and I've had zero energy to do anything. Luckily DH is in there now sanding away, and his brother is coming over this afternoon to install a new window and a second coat of mud on the drywall. That just means the rest of my house is a complete disaster holding all the things that should be in that room.

I've been so busy at work since the layoffs, theres definitely been a lot of work to pick up from the people that are gone so I havent had much time to check out the boards lately.
Fortunately it looks like things are going to calm down a bit for the rest of the week so no more late nights for me! Tonight H is going to clean the house while I bake a carrot cake for my dad's birthday tomorrow. We're inviting my folks and some of my cousins down for dinner at our place so need to get some stuff ready tonight.

Good afternoon. We got our taxes done today and were very pleased with the results. Tonight we are having dinner with friends.
Becki-me neither. She isn't that good and won't win anyway so they should've saved us the torture and sent her home now.

I think it's time to call Eric's doctor. The vomitting and diarrhea has lasted more than 3 days now.
OHHHH!!! Poor baby!!!!! The DR can give him something for the vomiting.... prob Zofran! LOL!!
Val - Sarah's pedi told us to get Emetrol which is over-the-counter. It worked after the first dose. The diarrhea ended the next day...
THANKS for the tip Lori. I'm going to pick it up tonight. The doc won't see him until tomorrow morning, he's already out of the office for the day.
