Survey - what would you do with $100?

If you had $100 to spend on yourself, what would you do with it?

I'm looking for some ideas to spend some birthday money, so I won't be answering my own post.

Re: Survey - what would you do with $100?

  • pampering.  i love massages so that's what i did with the $50 i got for my birthday from my nana and pop.  if you've got $100, you could add on a mani/pedi on top of that! :)
  • I would probably go shopping.  I want new clothes and I'm a clearance shopper.  I could get a lot for $100 :)

I would also consider: getting a massage, a nice dinner out with DH, blowing it on home decor crap (I really want new stuff for on the mantle), go somewhere fun with DH (museum, amusement park once the weather gets nicer, a day in AC, four or five minor league sporting event), or come up with a new craft project or two and buy the stuff I need to make it happen.  Ultimately, I think clothes shopping would win, but that might just be because I'm in the mood to shop right now :)

Have fun whatever you decide to do with it!!

  • Clothes... I need clothes. I'd probably buy some books too.

  • I agree with the pp...treat yourself with some much deserved pampering.  Especially since you just had a baby and could probably use a little "me" time.

I would call my nearest spa and ask about their services and prices or maybe they could send you a booklet.  Around here (in good old NEPA), the salon I go to also has a spa and they offer specials all the time for $99.  It is usually a massage and then a mani/pedi or a facial and then a mani/pedi...either would be fantastic!

  • I would totally buy myself this Philosophy dermabrasion scrub set.... it is awesome and expensive.  I am in total lust with this right now.  So I would get that and then spend the rest on some fancy coffee and maybe a new pair of comfy pants.  Have fun spending!
  • Definitely a massage, mani/pedi, or something pampering!
