Where do you buy your jeans?
I have the worst luck finding a good pair of dressy, dark jeans. I have tried gap, express, macys and have had no luck. Funny enough, I have one pair of no name jeans from Kohls of all places that I love (I think they are from the juniors section, actually). I should have bought 10 pairs.
Where do you find your cute jeans? What brand (if at a dept store)?
Re: Where do you buy your jeans?
I only really have 3 pairs of jeans that are sort of dark and long enough for me. I got 2 of the paris at A&F and one of the pairs is 7 for all mankind. I found the 7's at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I think those are the best places for jeans because they have a bunch of designer jeans that are dirt cheap. The only catch is that you have to look at every pair.
I hate buying jeans but my favorite pair I've had for about 5 years....I got them from Smith Brothers and they are Miss sixty jean and they are by far the best jeans I've ever had. I spend over an hour in the store trying on jeans when I got them and I loved how they looked.
I have such issues buying jeans b/c I have a short torso and I hate high cut jeans....I really haven't bought jeans since that pair. I've gone shopping for them but nothing that I liked or I had to get 3 sizes larger b/c they were juniors and I couldn't do it
I suggest going to Charlie's in Old City. It's worth it to spend the money on one good pair of jeans. They look at your body type and give you the jeans to try on. you'll spend $100-200, but you'll be surprised at the difference! They do alterations there, too.
Smith Bros has a decent selection, too. but Charlie's has the customer service.
I am intrigued by this Charlie's store....must look now!
I like Paige and Seven's. They carry them at Smith Brothers in the Promenade as well as at Macys in Cherry Hill.
At Charlie's, Citizens of Humanity were my favorite and I got a pair. Of course, I haven't fit in them for 2 yrs.I've also had Miss Sixty's that I like.
Izzy made a good point too - you can go to some TJ Maxx's and get designer jeans. Also Buffalo Exchange in Center City (they're consignment, but usually in good condition).
Oh, and I really like J Crew jeans too.
I am usually pretty lucky at The Limited with jeans...
I too am interested in checking out Charlies bc I didnt have much luck at Smith Bro's...
