It's official!
Yesterday was my absolute last day of data collection in the lab for my PhD. I would have been done five months ago, but I needed to redo some experiments from five years ago that I didn't keep good records on. It was definitely a bittersweet day, but more sweet than bitter. When I left, I didn't know whether to jump up and down and sing or cry. I could use some T&P for my dissertation writing, upcoming defense, and job search. I REALLY don't want to have to get a job in a lab.

I'm pretty sure on my last day I am going to cry in relief and desire to get out of here. I fully understand your last sentence, the longer I do things in lab the more I know I can't do this.
