Why am I so obsessed with decorating and we haven't even moved into our new house yet?? I really need some advice on some wall colors for my bedroom. We have a white comforter with dark brown edging and brown pillows. We also have a fairly dark sleigh bed. The current owners have it painted a light blue, but the room gets a lot of light so I'm thinking of going darker. It also has a vaulted ceiling and I'm thinking of doing something fun color wise with that. Any advice would be great so I can get this off my mind!!
Re: Decorating on the brain!
You're just excited
Check out the paint bio in my siggy and see if any colors there excite you.
Personally I wouldn't paint a bedroom ceiling a drastically different color than the walls. It can be fun in a library, but not in a library.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
kwill- We're in the same boat! Our closing is in April and I decorate our home-to-be in my head night and day...
When do you gain possession?
We'll close by the end of March, hopefully sooner!! The sellers are moving to Virginia and needed more time to make sure everything went smoothly with their move. I am counting down the days!! All I do is think of paint colors, where furniture would go, and what updates we want to make! Congrats on your new home too!!
