We're going out for dinner, but my gift to him is time with ME! A full weekend with no plans! We're really looking forward to spending time together and just having a relaxing weekend. Oh, and a card : )

lol, no i'm just kidding. i just got him a card, which makes me feel like crap because he got me a gift certificate to the spa. i was going to get him a new ipod since he put his through the washer yesterday, but he told me no - we need the $ for a new house.

I also got DH a wallet. (Abbie, fossil.com was doing free overnight shipping, it might be worth checking out. They have nice pretty inexpensive wallets). I also got him a bottle of Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner. Romantic I know.

And because I am a snoop, I know what DH got for me. A new sports bra. We are the romantics....I wonder if a sports bra is considered lingerie. I do have to say that I did want the bra because it's a really nice sports bra so I most certainly appreciate the gift.

I got SO a nerf type football and a box of peanut butter cups. He has to work a bit tomorrow but can do it from home. I'm planning to make dinner so we don't have to fight the crowds at restaurants.

We are trying to save $, so we are just going to buy some nice steaks & scallops or something, cook together and drink some wine & champagne.

I love nothing more than a day with no plans, and that's our Saturday, so yay!

so, I ended up getting DH the orange ipod nano anyway, even after I said I wouldn't. I just felt so bad yesterday when we were at the gym and he didn't have his ipod. Oh well -- my ceiling fans for the new house can wait - this was much more important.
