Baby-faced boy Alfie Patten is father at 13
BOY dad Alfie Patten yesterday admitted he does not know how much nappies cost ? but said: ?I think it?s a lot.?
Baby-faced Alfie, who is 13 but looks more like eight, became a father four days ago when his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman gave birth to 7lb 3oz Maisie Roxanne.
He told how he and Chantelle, 15, decided against an abortion after discovering she was pregnant.

this makes me want to cry.
and yet, it's so predictable: the girl's family collects welfare, the boy's dad has 9 other kids with who knows how many other moms... it's not surprising that these two didn't know the consequences of sex. Chances are they've never had "the talk"... and stupid parents are then so surprised.....
I'm stunned. He doesn't look like he's 13 and how could his "equipment" work? Ai! Really? Really.
13 - braces, sticker collection, crushing on boys but no thoughts of sex...OMG!!
One of DH high school friends had a baby when they were 14! So crazy, he is the same age as me (32) and his son is 18!
Obviously the grandparents helped raise the son. But that boy looks way younger than 13. He looks like the baby's brother - so sad.
Boy, times have changed for sure. Back when I was 13, I remembered vividly that half the kids in class did not have their first kiss yet!!!!
I don't know what a 'nappie' is....let alone how much it cost for one.
He does look VERY much younger than 13, the girl looks a lot older than him.
I loved when the reporter ask how he was going to support the baby financially...and he said "what's financially?"
