You ladies are teaching me to be a super coupon clipper...
I saved $32 this week! Pretty much everything I bought was on sale and some i had a coupon in addition to the sale. I went through the circular before and really planned my list. I also discovered a few printable coupon websites that I used. I bought this pizza crust mix from betty crocker that was $.86. I had a $.40 coupon that was doubled so it came out to $.06!
Haha this may be my new hobby!

I agree that the coupons can make you buy more, so I tried to stick to what was on sale. For a couple items, I actually googled printable coupons for it and saved a dollar per item (tilex, hellmans mayo). All this $ adds up!
I didn't even get my Inquirer at all this weekend!
Krista, where do you shop? If they have a "store card" and you use that with the coupons, you can save even more. We shop at Acme and I always buy whatever they have on sale with their "Super Card" and get some pretty good bargains a lot of the time.
I shop at ShopRite and oh yes, I use my "Price Plus" card. I got pretty much everything this past week on sale with it.
I agree. Walmart is expensive with their lunchmeats and regular meats and I wouldn't get them there. I find that Wegmans has really cheap lunch meat for what it's worth!
I've noticed coupons don't come in the Sunday paper when it's a Holiday weekend. Not sure why.
just to let you all know there were no coupons because it was a holiday weekend... They never put coupons out on holiday weekends....
Krista...just keep clipping those coupons and watching those sale ads and you will be surprised at how quikcly the savings will add up..
Also, don;t forget, if it's something you use often, be sure to get more than 1 coupon!!.. The Daily News on Thursday always has the coupons that were in the previous Sundays Inquirer.(except on weeks where there are no coupons on Sunday like this week),, Also, if you are at work and see ppl on the weekends with the ads from the Sunday paper, ask them if you can have the coupons from it id they are not going to use them.. you'll be surprised at how quickly your coupon pile will add up!!
