Morning
Good morning. I'm working from home today and H is off. We had a busy weekend and got Jack's room painted. I'm not crazy about the color though - it's brighter than I wanted. Hopefully once we put wainscoting up and get the furniture in there it will look OK!

We had a GREAT weekend!! Valentines Day was fantastic...we went to dinner with my cousin and her husband and we ate, talked and drank wine from 6:15 to almost midnight at Terra Nova. Yesterday we went to Home Depot and bought a new fridge....we got an LG bottom freezer, stainless steel for $1500.
Now I'm just lounging around enjoying the day off b/c I know I'm not getting another day off for a while
We have a bottom freezer fridge - I love it. Is yours double-door, too? We have a Maytag - I get a discount on Whirlpool products thru work, so we got a good deal.
Yea, I'm nervous about the paint - I hope it looks better. I don't hate it, but it's definitely not what I was going for.
Yeah it's the double door....I keep laughing that I must be getting old when a new fridge excites me
We went with LG simply b/c it was cheaper and we like the space inside...we were looking for one with a walter filter on the door but they had alot with both water/ice and the ice makers took up so much room inside so we'll just stick with our Brita water pitcher
I hate painting...I'll love it in the store but once it's on my walls I hate it....I've been meaning to repaint our bedroom for a long time.
Yea, we both suck at painting. we're too impatient. We paid someone to paint the rest of our house. I did good with the rest of my colors in the house, but messed this one up. Hopefully it grows on us.
Haha - I know. it's a shame what we get excited about now : ) Ours has the ice/water on the outside - but it does take up room. I know what you mean. Our fridge is still huge though - so we have plenty of space.
Good Morning. I took off today since my H had off. We are working on installing the hardware on our cabinets right now and then heading out to Home Depot to pick up a few things.. Our weekend has been insanely busy.. blah.

We did a light green color, but it turned out a little brighter than we wanted. It doesn't look bad in the natural sunlight today - so maybe it will be OK.
Good Moring! I just woke up and am watching the view while drinking my morning coffee. I could get used to this! Maybe I will play the lottery!
I am hoping to finish painting our downstairs hallway. The H and I are busy with projects bc we are putting our home on the market next month!

I'm just beginning to come out of the fog. I came down with the flu early last week. I'm thankful to be off from work today, so that I am not using another sick day.

Yea, after we picked it we noticed it moved up on the popular names for 2008 list. Oh well.
So jealous of the girls in Ireland! We're going away for 2 nights this weekend - I can't wait! Even if it's only to Annapolis, it's something.
We just met with our painter this morning for the shop and I hope I love the color. I went pretty neutral, but wonder if I'll regret not going a tad darker. We shall see.
In about 1 hour, I will officially have the keys to our shop and we will be starting the work. I'm nervous, but excited to get working again!

I suggested Annapolis for our weekend getaway but my H vetoed it. What are you guys planning on doing while there?

I have to work today, bummed out. DH has off. Our next paid holiday isnt until Memorial Day. SO FAR AWAY!
i was disappointed with the color when i first painted harpers room too! it took about a month and really grew on me. now i love it! so, give your self some time...and then reevaluate and decorate and you will probably love it!

Krista - we're staying at the Lowes right in town, so we'll probably just walk around and relax Sat & Sun. I know Ryan wants to see the Naval Academy. We have dinner reservations both nights, and brunch reservations for Sun. Then we leave Mon morning. If it's nice out, we may stop in Baltimore. We've never been to Annapolis, so I'm looking forward to it. Plus it will be nice for us to get away alone. This is our early 1st anniversary trip, since I'll be quite large in May : ) Much different than my original plans for a trip to Napa or Italy - but hey, at least it's still something. haha.
