I just got a call for an interview ...
It's financial industry sales.
I've been avoiding this type of position for years and years. Someone tell me it won't be that bad, please!
Re: I just got a call for an interview ...
I'm fine with sales but I've been picky about the industry - I'd prefer one somewhat creative and/or on that has opportunities for cross over.
I've been avoiding financial, insurance and healthcare/medical sales because these industries do not interest me in the slightest but they seem to be the only ones calling for interviews. I am only working part time right now - and I like to spend money.
Pharma sales are good! Re financial sales, I would think it's a pretty tough industry. Is it commission based?
GL Cat! I hope you find a good fit soon.
Yes, so I've heard.
I will think more about this over cocktails ... actually, no, the more I think about it, the less I want to go. I think I will pass. Thanks for the pep talk, MBOC!
Would you consider nursing? It's great money if you have a Florence Nightingale side to you.
I used to work in a home and I remember one of my favorite old men would say "uh oh, I think I feel a choo choo train comin!" I'd call the CNA immediately.
I don't think all nurses do that part of the job though, mainly the CNAs from what I remember, but I could be wrong.
