DH is going to kill me

So for whatever reason, Brad refuses to use our dishwasher.  He prefers to hand wash them?!?!?!?  Anyway, this morning the sink is overflowing with dished on both sides.  So, even though I'm not really supposed to I load it to run it to help him out, since really it requires no energy on my part.  So I turn it on and think it sounds a little funny but don't worry about it.  Then I think I hear water running.  Yes, my kitchen floor was like I lake!  Agh!!!!  Thank god he had the sham wows (which really do work by the way) on the counter and I used those.  He is going to kill me when I tell him what I did.  And I'm sure we need a new dishwasher as that one is 20 years old.  Of all times, on top of all the hospital bills we have and baby stuff we need to buy.

Re: DH is going to kill me

  • Oh no!  When it rains, it pours huh?  I'm sorry...that really stinks.  Hopefully Brad won't be TOO upset.
  • Aw Brandy that sucks!  I hope Brad isn't too upset and hopefully its a small repair and doesn't need much!  My Brad likes to wash stuff by hand too but not me...I love having a dishwasher!
  • oh no!  That happened to me once in an apt.  The landlord said the seal can dry out if it's not used or something!  Thank goodness for the shamwows!
