Has anyone ever bought glasses and then hated the way they fit or had an issue with their prescription and returned them? My H just got new glasses last week and he hates them! He says his vision is a little off when wearing them and he hates how they sit on his face. We went back to the store yesterday and the technician adjusted them for DH but he still hates them. So my question is, are they returnable? We spent almost $300.00 for these glasses.
Re: Eye Glasses Question
He has been wearing glasses and contacts for over 10 years now.. Hmm.. I am going to check the stores policy. I know the Manager knows we were not happy with the service we received in the store so if he decides to take his glasses back and try to get a refund I would hope they would allow it.
Thanks for answering my question/letting me vent. I think I am more annoyed with the store then anything.
Since I'm an expert in this situation..(I own an eyewear store) I will put in my 2 cents.
did the tech double cherk the rx in the new glasses to see if it was correct? If your hubby isn't seeing great that is the first step. His vision should be addressed first since that is the most important.
If all checks out and he is still not seeing well he may have to get his vision rechecked.
The next part about just no liking the glasses is another issue. We have instore credit or exchange only in my store so we do not give refunds..I can not say about other stores, you'd have to find out there return policy.
I can say that if the frame was just a bad fit from the start that's the optician's fault. When someone is looking for glasses we take everyone's needs into perspective...you might LOVE something but it just might not work with your RX or might not fit your bridge right. I will risk losing a sale rather then a client coming in every day with the same complait...I don't like being haunted by people..LOL
If the store you went to is reputable then they should work with you in this situation
