i have a kitchenaid stand mixer that is really just too big and bulky for me to keep around. ?i've got it in a box that's ready to go to storage, but i've been putting it off because i know i'll need the damn thing. ?now i've decided that the best thing to do is to send it away and just get a hand mixer - it'll be smaller, lighter, and i've been wanting one anyway.
i'm pretty stuck on the pink kitchenaid hand mixer. ?i can get one at BBB with a 20% off coupon and spend about $50. ?or i can use my williams-sonoma g/c that i got for christmas, have a better model, but still be $50 out of pocket.
OR i can just go to target, settle for the boring white 3-speed model and shell out about $35.
what a lame ass dilemma. ?i know it. ?but hey, it's slow. ?WWYD??

Why are you stuck on the pink KA hand mixer? I mean, sure it might be cute, but I wouldn't pay a premium for it. At least, not right now anyway. But I can be a cheapo.
I would save the WS card, and besides, $50 oop is a lot.
Could you maybe get a better model than the one they have at Target through Amazon? I love my Braun hand mixer and I think it's only about $27 or so.
I have a stupid KAM and I never use it. Mboc got me to buy it.

i've owned other brands of hand mixers before and burned them out :X ?and with my vow to cook as much as i can at home these days, a good quality mixer is worth having. ?to me, that = KA.

I'd get the WHITE KA. If you plan to use it that much, it's def worth it.
Edited to add: I have a boring handmixer in my pantry unopened. It's yours if you want it. (I already own 2 and it was a gift a LONG time ago)

I love my stand mixer but I also have a handheld one. I use both. If it's a small job I just use the hand mixer, if I'm baking then I use the stand.
I would get the cheapest KA handheld, but I wouldn't be quick to put away the stand if you're doing more cooking.
I bet I have this stuff in my pile of boxes.
But we won't find out for years.?

I was told we just *had* to register, or else all the non-Asian people would get us vases and other useless_shit.
Little did they know, all things kitchen-related are basically useless to us, too, but it's not like we could be like, "Cash only, folks" or even "Your presence is your present."
It would've been great to tell people not to buy us anything at all, but apparently even that is rude. Etiquette is weird.?

I love my KA stand mixer and use it a lot. However, there are times I need a hand mixer and don't have one. Is there somewhere in the house you can put the mixer so it's out of the way and bring it out for th ebig jobs. I would get a good quality KA hand mixer if you have blown out other mixers in the past and if you plan on cooking a lot.
After getting my KA stand mixer, I will never use a hand mixer again unless I absolutely have to.

I received a wedding invitation over the weekend that contained a registry card. I just checked out the registry and there are about 20 items on it; not too many request multiples. There are 400 - 500 people invited to this wedding. I think it's their subtle way of saying "cash preferred".
