Hey Stacey-

I just saw your reply to my bio update post on D&R.  I am loving the new wall color...definitely more soothing and goes better with my furniture and decor.  The ceiling is a whole other mess...the color swatch I picked looked more cream or ivory on the swatch and they must of originally painted our ceilings in an antique or winter white tone.  I had the worst time being able to tell where I painted then I ran out of paint.  We got more and there are definite spots that I missed so DH is going to go over it with a second coat in the future.  I ended up not doing our trim this weekend too but since i have the paint I can start that anytime!

  • Hi Jen - I'm glad you are liking the color.  I think it looks great!  Sorry about the ceiling paint, that is a pain.  Painting definitely takes a lot of work.

We are looking into my HVAC units and Gregg took the thermostat off the wall and I saw the ugly purple paint they had for an accent wall in my dining room, I'm so glad we painted that away!

  • LOL about the ugly purple...that sounds like me the other day when we took our air vent from the dining room off the wall and there was a slight trace of the blue that was there originally.  I like blue in bedrooms and offices but its so not me for dining and living rooms.
