Tryin to help my brother with plans to celebrate their 8 year anniversary. They've done Morton's, Mastro's, Flemming's, and Orange Hill. He is looking for something different, and since my husband has the pallet of a five year old I am no help whatsoever. Looking for somewhere in OC. Thanks!!
Re: Anniversary Dinner Recs
Marche Moderne (Costa Mesa)
Stonehill Tavern (Laguna Niguel/DP)
Old Vine Cafe (Costa Mesa)
Napa Rose (Anaheim)
Sapphire (Laguna)
What do you mean by different? Fondue? If so, we really enjoyed La Fondue in San Juan Capistrano (I think it has a different name now but it's the same place).
Salt Creek Grille is good too and the prices are pretty reasonable IMO.
Ambrosia (French) - Santa Ana
Hush (Californian) - LB
Pinot Provence (French) - Costa Mesa
Wildfish (Seafood) - Newport
Studio in Montage Hotel - Nice view, good food but the food is overpriced IMO
The Hobbit -- Orange
Stonehill Tavern -- Dana Point or Laguna?
We just went to Pascal's for V-day and it was delicious. It's at Bristol & Jamboree in the Coco's shopping center. It's French.
Turnner New Zealand in Costa Mesa is good too.
Thank you IVF for our little miracles!!
Sadly, Turner New Zealand closed...
I also recommend Pescadou in Newport. Yummy French food and really wonderful service.
